I finally got my Twitter badge to work.
What should I talk about today?
My good mate Lili Wilkinson, awesome author of The Not Quite Perfect Boyfriend, Joan of Arc: The Story of Jehanne Darc and Scatterheart, is organising the Inkys. She has told me not to go to Chadstone when in Melbourne. I don't care, though, because
I WANT TO GO TO THE APPLE STORE!!!1!!!!one
Plus, my parents used to live nearby and they say that Chadstone shopping centre is quite a place. So ima go.
I think I should say something nerdy and useless today.
OMG
Okay, so there's this site, Instructables (www.instructables.com), and it's got little how-to's submitted by people who have created something win.
My mate Soph and I decided to do one ages ago. We both had spare keyboards around so we made the Wallet made from a computer keyboard. Hers turned out great. I sorta didn't measure mine right so it was too big but I could fix it if I bothered to do it. (I measured it for one fifty dollar note in each half, not all up.) Hers even has a coin pocket.
So guys, visit Instructables.

Dude, you have to go to Chadstone.
It is so cool.
Where are you staying in Melbourne?
I live in Melbourne. Great place to live if you don't mind the weather.
I'm staying near teh library... um...
"Downtowner on Lygon" <-- Lili.
I shall go there. Please come to the Inky's ceremony. We can be buds.
I might go to the Inkys.
Maybe...
YOU HAVE TO
The *only* time worth going to Chadstone is at 4am on the 24th of December.
It's quite surreal. Especially if you haven't slept that night.
Why then?
Because the place is literally *packed*. It's the most bizarre freak bastard-child of commercialism - a giant shopping centre says "We're going to be open 24-hours for two days before Xmas", and everybody goes crazy with a desire to go xmas shopping at the most ridiculous hour in the morning, thinking that nobody else will.
Of course, nobody thinks of the bunnies in the pet store, who end up stressed out of their little brains.
Oh poor things.
They'd like have heart attacks.
